Open Text To Hit 2009 Running with Quintuple ANZ Staff Appointment

Open Text™ Corporation has announced the appointment of five ANZ-based appointments to support customers and partners and drive further growth for the company in Australia and New Zealand.

<p>Open Text™ Corporation, a global leader in enterprise content management (ECM), has announced the appointment of five ANZ-based appointments to support customers and partners and drive further growth for the company in Australia and New Zealand.</p>
<p>Sean Guillemot has been appointed Channel Account Executive and joins Open Text with 15 years’ experience in the IT industry. He will be responsible for supporting the growth in all aspects of Open Text’s channel business, including sales and solutions strategies and market development.</p>
<p>Prior to Open Text, Guillemot worked at IBM for 11 years in a variety of positions, initially as a Senior Support Analyst before moving into systems engineering and, technical sales specialist roles. Most recently, he was Channel Manager for the IBM Lotus brand.</p>
<p>Ian Poulton joins Open Text as Senior Solutions Consultant with responsibility for the Enterprise Content Management suite. He has 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, including 11 years with British Telecom. Most recently, he was Sales Engineer at Vignette Australia for four years where he was responsible for architecting customer solutions involving the company’s entire product range.</p>
<p>Simon Niblock has been appointed Lead Account Development Executive Asia Pacific and brings Open Text 12 years’ IT enterprise software sales and marketing experience. He was formerly Inside Sales Manager for four years with Vignette Australia where he built, trained and lead an inside sales team in support of the company’s direct and partner channel. Prior, Niblock held business development managements with Microdec and has also worked with Telelogic UK and Optus Cable &amp; Wireless.</p>
<p>Craig Bates has been appointed Major Account Executive, Australia and New Zealand based in Melbourne and joins Open Text with more than 12 years’ experience in sales in the IT industry. Bates will be responsible for the development of Open Text’s relationships with key major accounts across Australia and New Zealand.</p>
<p>Bates previously held a variety of roles with EMC and was most recently Sales Manager for the company’s Southern Region Corporate and Commercial business.</p>
<p>Finally, Tim Morris has been appointed Australian Sales Manager for the Open Text Web Solutions Group. Morris joins Open Text with more than ten years’ experience in the enterprise content management market and was previously National Sales Director for Netcat.biz, the largest Australian-owned Web Content Management software company. He previously worked for ISYS Search Software as Australian Sales Manager</p>
