<p>Sydney, Australia – 25 November 2003: Concord Communications, an industry leader in optimising application performance and availability across networks and systems, has appointed former EMC</p>
<p>Northern Region District Manager, Peter Kensey, as the company’s Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Japan, Korea and India.</p>
<p>Kensey brings over 30 years of computer industry management and marketing experience to Concord. With this working knowledge of the sector, Kensey will lead Concord’s extensive growth through out theregion through a combination of direct sales and Concord authorised resellers (CARs).</p>

<p>Prior to Concord Kensey was District Manager for EMC, NSW, ACT and QLD. In this role, Kensey led EMC’s market entry into the open systems, storage and server software markets, from an exclusively</p>
<p>mainframe attached storage focus. During his time with EMC he also successfully managed the establishment of new operational headquarters in Australia states as well as New Zealand branch offices.</p>
<p>Before EMC, Kensey was NSW Sales Manager at Oracle. This role saw him responsible for the enterprise sector of the market, strengthening Oracle’s position against SAP, and growing NSW and inter-state sales teams.</p>
<p>Throughout his extensive career in information technology, Peter Kensey has successfully managed a number of his own business initiatives, including the importing of Ultimate mini computers which automate</p>
<p>business processes. He also introduced Executive Information Systems (EIS) to the Australian market, business systems for strategic planning and modelling.</p>
