HP ProCurve Brings Big Business Gigabit Switching Features to Small Businesses

<p>HP ProCurve Networking has announced the Australian and New Zealand availability of an affordable high performance gigabit Ethernet switching solution, designed for small businesses with fewer than 50 employees.</p>
<p>Two new gigabit Ethernet switch models have been added to the top selling ProCurve 2510 series. Designed to be easily deployed by small businesses, the switches include simple installation, small form factors, web based configuration, and easy to use ProCurve Management software.</p>
<p>The newest additions to the 2510 series are the 2510G-24, and 2510G-48. The 2510G-24 includes 20 fixed 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, and 4 modular dual-personality ports. The 2510G-48 includes 44 fixed 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, and 4 modular dual-personality ports. ProCurve switches are</p>

<p>Advanced features are included as standard, allowing small businesses to take advantage of traffic prioritisation, virtual LANs, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting features as they grow. ProCurve switches can be grouped together into a virtual stack of up to 16 switches, making it easier to manage the network as it grows.</p>
<p>Software updates to ProCurve switches are provided free for the life of the product.</p>
<p>The ProCurve 2510G-24 and 2510G-48 are available now, distributed in Australia by Ingram Micro and 24/7 Distribution, and in New Zealand by Ingram Micro.</p>
<p>The ProCurve 2510G-24 has a list price of $1149 AUD and $1349 NZD excluding taxes. The ProCurve 2510G-48 has a list price of $2093 AUD and $2449 NZD excluding taxes.</p>
