Wanted - Power Users

 • 25 February, 2004 15:55

Are you someone who often creates PDF files to send by email (or perhaps just to electronically archive documents) but also print a hardcopy of these documents? If so, Avalanche Media, Australian distributors of the award winning PDF writer - pdfFactory Pro is looking for your help.

Avalanche will shortly be releasing Version 2.20 of pdfFactory Pro. This version will allow for simultaneous printing and generation of PDF files with a single mouse click. Prior to its release however, they are looking to recruit a number of heavy document users to finalise beta testing of this new version.

"This version has already been tested extensively in the development environment, but there's nothing like real users, creating real documents, to find any difficulties with the software", Peter Cameron, Director of Business Development for Avalanche said today.

"We'd really love some power users to put the software through the wringer. We want to maintain our excellent reputation and know that this software is as close to faultless as is humanly possible prior to releasing it", Cameron said.

pdfFactory Pro is a low cost, easy to use alternative to the Adobe Acrobat ® suite. Avalanche's philosophy is that PDF creation software should be cheap enough to install on every workstation.

Previous version of pdf Factory Pro have been highly successful in the market, with the product gaining huge market acceptance. Late last year, Ernst & Young (US) purchased 110,000 copies of pdfFactory Pro, after extensive testing.

If you're happy to become a beta tester, visit the Avalanche website http://www.avalanche.com.au and click on the BETA TEST button or contact Avalanche on 1300 855 005.
