Integ caps a year of impressive growth with the opening of a Canberra office
- 10 August, 2004 12:21

Leading Australian voice and data company Integ has recorded its second successive year of growth. The company increased its revenues by 28% - with an increase in customer orders and staff to match this figure - and has invested in its ongoing success with the opening of a Canberra office.
The past financial year has seen considerable growth for Integ, with major wins including RTA, UTS, Tower Insurance, Four Points Hotel, Baulkham Hills Shire Council, Computer Associates, Calvary Hospital, NSW Ambulance, QUT and QLD Transport.

The company has also made a number of strategic acquisitions, including those of Queensland based Lanlink and Trade Centre Products, which have enabled Integ to expand its competencies in niche communications applications as well as in infrastructure, complementing its core offering of voice/data solutions and IP communications.
The new Canberra office broadens Integ’s focus in the government sector. Led by Glen Lance, former head of Logicalis Canberra, the operation will offer comprehensive voice and data networking and security solutions.
“Integ has again recorded impressive growth in terms of profitability and revenue growth” said Integ CEO Ian Poole. “Our strategy of building a complete offering from infrastructure to application level is obviously resonating with the market and has allowed us to achieve significant growth. Our four lines of business – voice, data, applications and cabling (VDAC) have all expanded during 2004 fiscal year. Of note, the data networking line of business in its first year of operation has achieved strong results and is positioned well for its second year while the cabling business, in operation for two fiscal years, has recorded an impressive 167% growth over the previous year”.
“Opening a Canberra office has been our goal for some time. We are already working with a number of government organisations, including Australian Government Solicitors, IP Australia and Department of Parliamentary Services. With Glen on board we are increasing our commitment to the ACT and looking to build long term partnerships to help our customers achieve their business outcomes through leading voice and data technologies”.
Commenting on the ACT local market, Glen Lance said “In recent years the ACT marketplace has lacked an Australian-owned SME telecommunications and networking integrator who is committed to serving the federal government customer base, so I’m really enthused by this opportunity. Integ already has a solid base in Canberra, and I look forward to continuing to maintain, and grow, our market share within the federal government sector."
The Canberra office will initially be co-located with other UXC companies in Canberra city.
