Computer Training Options Launches First Local Course on How to Sell on eBay

 • 07 July, 2007 14:27

Training will demystify e-commerce and help local businesses reach out to a world of new online buyers for their products.

Gold Coast-based Computer Training Options Pty Ltd (CTO) has launched the first local training course for small business on How to Sell on eBay. eBay is a global online marketplace where practically anyone can trade practically anything and it has over three million members in Australia – including more than 8,500 people who derive part or all of their income from the Web site.

“We spotted a need for this kind of training because while eBay presents huge opportunities for local small businesses and sole traders who want to reach out to more buyers, the world of e-commerce can initially be daunting and confusing to the uninitiated,” said Rosy Jansen, Managing Director of Computer Training Options. “We’re talking about a global phenomenon that is active in 33 markets, including Australia. eBay has more than 193 million users worldwide who trade US$1,608 worth of goods every second! Our course aims to remove the fear and confusion and teach local small businesses how best to use the technology to open up more opportunities to sell their products.”

Topics covered in the How to Sell on eBay training include:

· How to set up an eBay account and start selling
