Objective selected by Western Australian Government

<p>Objective Corporation (ASX: OCL) today announced it has been appointed to the newly established preferred supplier panel for Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) across Western Australian government.</p>
<p>The Common Use Arrangement (CUA) 8005 is a panel of three suppliers approved by the Western Australian government to provide EDMS to its government agencies. The contract will commence on the 29 September 2006.</p>
<p>The CUA has been established by the Western Australian government in response to the increasing amount of electronic information modern government organisations need to manage and to assist agencies comply with local and international standards for document management, records management and related disciplines.</p>
<p>Following exhaustive evaluation and testing of solutions available to Western Australian government agencies, Objective met all of the panel’s core functional and technical requirements for EDMS.</p>

<p>Objective’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution is used by a range of customers in the state: Western Australian Department of Community Development; Department of Consumer &amp; Employment Protection; Corruption &amp; Crime Commission; Department of Conservation &amp; Land Management; Western Australia Police.</p>

<p>Objective is also featured on the South Australian government’s preferred supplier panel for the provision of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) and approved supplier on the NSW Government panel contract: GSAS ITS 2323, Records and Information Management Systems (RIMS). Its products have been certified against the Victorian Electronic Records Strategy (VERS) specification, the UK National Archives (TNA 2002), and the US Department of Defence military records management standard, US DOD 5015.1-STD.</p>
