Brisbane-based HRMS software firm Aurion has appointed Adrian Gosbell to the key role of Professional Services Manager as the company expands.

Previously the Amsterdam-based Uniface product manager for Compuware, Gosbell is credited with taking Uniface from a 'product focus' to a 'customer focus'.

Aurion Managing Director Silvano Basso said Gosbell "understands the software supply chain and is ideally placed to improve the delivery cycle, from customer requirement to software development to implementation and support". Gosbell is expected to take up the position in mid April.

Aurion is also strengthening its professional services, development and support teams with the addition of Jason Wright (product consultant), Rochelle Anderson (quality testing on software), Helen Butler (support) and Robyn Coubrough (product consultant - Sydney).

Kim Wilson (pre-sales - Melbourne based), Geoff Rath (product consultant - Sydney based) and Bruce Hutchinson (product consultant - Melbourne based) recently joined the Aurion team. Internal promotions are filling a pre-sales role in Brisbane with Leanne Turner moving into the sales fold.

Paul MacRae, Aurion's National Sales Manager, said: "The expansion of our team relates directly to the growth in new business around Australia. The choice of people with extensive applications experience in PeopleSoft and other timekeeping or HR & payroll applications emphasises our commitment to local market conditions."

He said Aurion is looking for office space to house the team in Melbourne, while the company has expanded its Clarence Street office in Sydney.
