Alphawest Acquires The Westbourne Group Information Management Business in ACT

<p>SYDNEY, Australia, 5 July 2004 - Alphawest (ASX:ALW) is pleased to announce it has acquired the Information Management business of The Westbourne Group, an ACT-based services business which sells, implements and supports advanced Knowledge Management and Information Management solutions.</p>
<p>This strategic acquisition further demonstrates Alphawest’s commitment to its Information Management practice nationally and, in particular, the ACT.</p>
<p>Alphawest will continue to provide real business value for its ACT Federal and State government departments and private sector clients through the design, implementation and support of effective Business Process, Records and Information Management solutions.</p>
<p>Alphawest’s customer-centric Information Management strategy will continue to deliver increased quality of services and products to the ACT community.</p>
<p>This acquisition is another strategic move for Alphawest following the successful management buy-out late in 2002 and subsequent ASX listing in April 2004.</p>
