Oriel Receives Avnet’s Solutions Partner of the Year Award for 2007

 • 13 December, 2007 12:20

Oriel Technologies today announced it is the winner of Avnet’s Solutions Partner of the Year Award for 2007. The award was presented to Oriel at Avnet’s business partner awards evening held on Thursday 22nd of November in Sydney. Avnet have distinguished Oriel as the integrator that best utilises a wide range of technologies to provide complete solutions for its clients.

"The solutions partner of the year award, is an award that honours innovation, excellence and a commitment to drive solution sales. Oriel Technologies is an organisation that exemplifies the before mentioned, as well doing all this with a great deal of integrity. Avnet is proud to be associated with Oriel, and we look forward to being part of their continued success. Congratulations to the Oriel team in taking out this award for 2007," said Gavin Lawless, General Manager of Avnet Technology Solutions Australia.

“Oriel is very proud to receive this award as it reflects the effort and extra mile that Oriel goes to in putting together tailored solutions for our clients”, said Jake Wynne, Managing Director of Oriel. “We know that our clients value innovative solutions that solve their business needs and yet are easy to manage and support. These facets only come together through seeking to understand the client’s business processes and requirements before applying the final design. The result is a solution that best suits the client rather than the integrator. I say this, as often the simplest solution from the clients perspective can be quite a complex one from a design and integration perspective. Oriel isn’t afraid of making our solutions all about the client.”

Oriel acknowledges that good relationships with distributors such as Avnet is critically important to its business. Jake Wynne comments, “We lean on them for information and support and often make difficult requests, all in the name of providing better service to our clients. Avnet always come to the party and actively work with us to add value to our business and our solutions.”
