6th June 2005 - Ensyst Pty Ltd, the fast-growing Information Technology and Communications provider, today announced they have acquired IT outsourcing competitor SynergyIT from ASX listed Affiance Group Limited. In an interesting twist, 2 directors of Ensyst are former employees of SynergyIT. Ensyst has now doubled in size and broadened its reach to every State of Australia and New Zealand.

Tim Sone, Director of Ensyst, stated "It wasn't our goal to buy SynergyIT because of our past associations with the company. It was our goal to buy a company whose people and assets complemented those of Ensyst in order to position ourselves for what we believe will be a consolidation in the SME IT outsourcing space. Because of this focus we have now almost doubled revenue while, through the clear business synergies, ensuring that our operating costs have remained low. The business benefits of this deal are obvious but, most importantly, the high skill and service-levels we have always provided our clients with will not be affected.

He also added - "It's true that there is some pleasure in returning and buying a company you once worked for - but Ensyst comes first - if the fit wasn't right for Ensyst and our customers then we would not have gone ahead"

Rob Roche, Director of Ensyst, provided - "This purchase is great news for SynergyIT and Ensyst's current clients as well as for the market place in general. With our new additions, Ensyst will be better equipped in, terms of the breadth and quality of our offerings, to compete head-on with larger competitors.”
