About the role

As a junior software developer you would provide computing and programming support to priority projects within the Science Division. You will also be supporting the development and software coding of specific web, mobile and database applications. Furthermore you would assist with project planning and get an insight into project and team management.

Key Skills required:
  • Proficient knowledge and skills
    • Net Core
    • mobile app development
    • HTML / CSS / JavaScript
  • Experience in manipulating data files using Amazon Web Services and Atlassian product suit would be advantageous
  • Provide support for software demonstration , training and workshop
  • Work with scientists to capture and convert scientific approaches and methodologies into software systems
  • Be familiar with: repository management; test driven development; continuous integration; automated deployment and backup
  • Provide accurate advice, share knowledge and build positive relationships with other member and clients
