Manage and Lead the Operations of a National Team

Be part of a prestigious professional service firm. My client is seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage the operations of their National team


    • Maintenance of Operations Manuals, processes and procedures; (owner of Incident, change and problem management processes) to ensure efficient and effective IT support

    • Ensure the operational team have a clear understanding of SLA, KPI's and processes

    • Complete operational management tasks including managing workloads, performance reviews, recruitment, training and development and rostering

    • Analyse key support metrics and trends identifying areas for improvement

    • Service desk reporting

    • Identify and escalate SLA breaches / near-misses for further investigation by supporting teams

    • IT support operations alignment with business needs/objectives

    • Lead and develop an IT support team

    • Build and maintain relationships internally (Partners and key business stakeholders) and externally (third party vendors)

    • Provide day-to-day advice and support to the business

    Experience / Skills

    • Similar experience in a Professional Services environment

    • Experience in incident, problem and change management processes

    • Experience with ITIL compliant Service Desk System

    • Strong leadership and people management skills

    • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels

    • Analytical and report writing skills

    • Influencing and negotiating skills

    • Sound understanding of Standard Operating environments

    • Proven time management skills and the ability to autonomously manage and prioritise workloads
