Join CIO, the CIO Executive Council & IDC on the 23rd July at Australia’s premier event for CIO executives – the CIO Summit 2009.

Our programme, which includes plenty of time for peer networking, has a notable speaker line-up with presentations from industry experts and leading CIOs.

As leading IT executives, we know that you are bombarded with invitations to events, but the CIO Summit is singularly successful. Surveys of previous summits have shown that your colleagues give superior marks to the speakers, and, just as importantly, to discussions with peers.

"Very good speakers, content and presentation."

"A very worthwhile process for me."

"Interesting presentations with good material."

"Good interaction between business and IT."

"Fantastic. Enjoyed it. Great interaction."

"Well worth the time spent. Have taken some good ideas and experiences on board."

Attendees at the CIO Summit 2008 gave it top marks:

  • 87% found the conference valuable to them professionally
  • 93% would recommend attendance to a colleague

The 2009 summit agenda will draw on IDC's Forecast for Management (FFM) Survey. The FFM asks CIO's questions relating to their use of, expenditure on, resourcing for and challenges with IT - including what they are planning in terms of budgets, resources and intentions for the use of technology in the coming years.

The summit will draw on this information and present an overview of the dynamic ICT industry and offer insight for benchmarking and vendor strategic planning.

Attend the CIO Summit in 2009 to share a stimulating day of ideas and insights with your peers and expert speakers.

Who will attend

The CIO Summit is a highly-focused, ‘C’ level summit for Australia’s leading technology thinkers including:

  • CIOs
  • CTOs
  • IT Directors
  • Senior IT executives
  • IT Managers and other senior business executives.

The event is designed to appeal to those with a strategic focus on business and the role that technology plays in their companies ability to remain competitive in the coming decade.
