National Australia Bank’s (NAB) group executive, enterprise services and transformation, Lisa Gray, is departing the bank following a management reshuffle announced Friday morning.

Gray was leading the rollout of NAB’s Oracle-based NextGen core banking platform, which is part of the bank’s 10-year business transformation initiative to modernise its IT systems. Four million customers are being transferred to the new platform between now and 2016.

Gray, who was promoted to the position in March 2013, is being replaced by Renee Roberts, who was previously chief risk officer at Bank of New Zealand.

She oversaw the bank’s risk, compliance, and audit teams.

In her 25-year career, Roberts has worked across most areas of financial services including operations, risk, technology, collections, and personal banking, ANZ said on Friday.

NAB’s new CEO Andrew Thorburn, said he has taken time since his appointment in April to consider “who are the best people to take NAB forward.

NAB said Gray would depart after completing an “appropriate transition".

The bank said all members of its new group executive leadership team will “receive lower total remuneration packages than the previous incumbents.”
