Chinese IT services and outsourcing outfit VanceInfo Technologies plans to expand its Australian and New Zealand headquarters, which will create 200 new jobs by 2014.
Over the next two years, the company is looking to hire 60 new project managers, business analysts and architects with expertise in mobile and online technology and cloud computing, Victorian technology minister Gordon Rich-Phillips said in a statement.
Minster Rich-Phillips met with VanceInfo last week in China during the Victorian government’s super trade mission – the largest ever to leave Australian shores.
“VanceInfo has grown significantly in Victoria since announcing last year it would create 100 new jobs by establishing its Australia and New Zealand headquarters in Melbourne,” he said.
“Victoria offers China – our leading trading partner – globally-focused expertise in the development and application of technologies to assist China’s growth.”
