AAPT appoints new CEO

Current technology manager to take the top job

AAPT has announced the appointment of its new CEO: Former network and technology manager of Telecom New Zealand, David Yuile.

Telecom New Zealand CEO, Paul Reynolds, said Yuile will take up the position from the start of July, when current AAPT CEO, Paul Broad, ends his fixed-term contract.

“I would like to thank Paul for his outstanding contribution during a period of unprecedented change in the telecommunications industry in Australia,” Reynolds said in a statement.

As well as being the technology manager, Yuile is currently responsible for moving AAPT to Google Apps and the public Cloud and held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Australian telco.
