ASG (ASX: ASZ) has expanded its enterprise credentials with the acquisition of SAP consulting and services provider Progress Pacific.
Progress, with 40 staff across Sydney and Melbourne, has a customer list including IAG, ING, PepsiCo and Smiths.
The acquisition is worth up to $12 million and is based on a multiple of five times earnings before interest and tax for the 2011 and 2012 years.
ASG general manager sales and delivery, Murray Rosa said the acquisition of Progress Pacific would expand the company’s east coast footprint as well as complement the company’s other recent acquisitions.
In April it acquired WA-based SAP shop, Courtland Business Solutions, to add both new capabilities and a customer book which includes mining, oil and gas, engineering, construction and infrastructure clients.
In June it acquired IT consulting company Capiotech in a move which will boost revenues and create new managed services opportunities for the company. Its customers include Qantas, ANZ Bank, Commonwealth Bank, Macquarie Group, NAB, Vodafone and Origin Energy.
In June ASG signed an up-to seven year deal with Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA) for the supply of corporate IT support services.
