Jumbuck

Jumbuck Entertainment (ASX:JMB) has announced that its founder and former chief executive, Adrian Risch, has resigned from the board of directors, effective immediately.

In a statement to the ASX, the company said Risch had stepped down as CEO in December last year, however had remained on the board to assist the transition to the new CEO and management team.

Risch said he had enjoyed his time with Jumbuck over the last decade, and wished the board and the new CEO every success for the future.

Jumbuck chairman, Harvey Parker, mirrored the sentiment, acknowledging Risch’s contribution to the company and wishing him well in the future.

EMC

EMC’s security division, RSA, has announced the appointment of Chad Alpert as its new Archer business manager for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).

According to a statement from the company, the role will see Alpert responsible for all aspects of RSA Archer eGRC (government risk and compliance) solutions across the A/NZ region.

Previously, Alpert held IT and risk management roles with CSC Australia, and in the UK as a consultant primarily for the banking and finance industry.

WD Scott

IT consulting form, WD Scott, has announced Gary Allan as the new partner in charge of its federal consulting business.

In a statement, the company’s local chief executive, John Paul, said Allan was already a long-term member of its Canberra based team, but would now be joining in a full-time capacity.

“Gary is well known in the Canberra marketplace, having built a very strong personal and professional reputation here.  During a 27-year career with the Australian Army where he reached the rank of Colonel, Gary served in various senior operational, policy and procurement roles including Director of Signals-Army and Commander of the Defence Network Services Group,” Paul said.

Since leaving the Army, Allan has worked within the Federal Government in the Office for Government Online and the National Office  for the Information Economy, where he was responsible for whole-of-government network services, telecommunications agreements and enterprise software agreements.
