A new leading systems integrator company which provides Australian public and private sector organisations with Unified Communications (UC) services and solutions has launched today.

Headquartered in Melbourne, iVision has been formed from the integration of two companies: Integrated Vision which provided leading visual communications solutions, and Unify, which offered networking and IP telephony solutions. Combined, the two companies have more than 25 years of experience in video conferencing, core networking, IP telephony, and audio-visual integration.

Last year, findings in the Frost & Sullivan Australia Unified Communications Services Report suggested that, because of the relative infancy of the UC market and the continual development of new applications and products, there were a limited number of Australian system integrators with the depth of skills required to support fully-fledged UC deployments.
